Even though I grew up in Cali, I spent some of the best years of my life in the Brooklyn black bohemian scene while living in Fort Greene/Clinton Hill. So when I came across this film, it was of special interest to me for a couple of reasons...
"Sundays in Fort Greene" is about two sisters trying not to be pulled into the world of their drug addicted mother. It is produced by Meagan Good's production company, Freedom Bridge Entertainment. She plays one of the sisters, who is also a lesbiana (above). Shooting started last week.
Interesting. 1) I can only remember Spike Lee flicks filmed in Fort Greene, so it should be interesting to watch and 2) Meagan Good has a production company?
btw...are there palm trees in Brooklyn? I'm just sayin'

Nice pic of Meagan. I didn't know she had her own production company..that is interesting.
I was hoping to see something different from my girl. Playing the "hot girlfriend" was getting old.
A lesbian? Very interesting.
I know...finally something besides the hard to get girlfriend....I hope she's up to the task; I really haven't seen her flex any real acting skills yet. I'm rooting for her.

I'd be interested in watching it, especially for the Black Bohemian content.
wow!!! I must hit Meagan up (e.g. her prodco) since I am interested in writing screenplays and the concept she's in in this new movie "Sundays in Fort Greene" sounds interesting and right up my alley..nothing stereotypical I hope. I plan on not writing about stereotypes..only stories that are amazing and unspeakable in Hollywood.
Hope she pulls this one off.
This is by far the sexiest woman on the palnet. Her recent choices for roles in movies has not only shown her range as an actress, but also that she is bold in undertaking new and cutting edge projects. The fact that she owns her own production company just speaks to her entreprenueral ambition. Somebody get her a glass of water, cuz babygirl is hot-steaming!
