"Lackawanna Blues" helmer George C. Wolfe is set to direct the Jamie Foxx starrer "Blood on the Leaves" for Paramount Pictures.
Based on Jeffrey Stetson's 2004 novel, the story centers on a district attorney who grapples with feelings of revenge as he prosecutes a black history professor on trial for the murders of white men accused of crimes against blacks during the Civil Rights movement. The studio is searching for a second male lead.Foxx, Marcus King and Jaime Rucker King are producing through their Paramount-based Foxxhole shingle.Paramount's Brad Weston and Elizabeth Raposo are shepherding the project for the studio.Wolfe won a DGA Award for directing the HBO ensemble drama "Lackawanna," for which he also was nominated for an Emmy.

Sounds good. Pretty much with Foxx in it lately is good. He has come into his own and is producing so really great pieces.
I think it will make up for "Stealth"!
