All this week I will be talking about things related to your favorite films and the comments made. A few people voted "Krush Groove" as one of their favorites, and justjudith asked if that was Sheila E's last film. Well, I don't know if it is, but the picture above may be one reason why we haven't seen her lately....I guess it all has to stop somewhere. She should give Prince a call-he hasn't aged a day in 25 years.

We can't all stay young-looking! (sez the Villager with a growing pot-belly, (sigh)).
Wasn't Sheila E known for her drums? I wonder if she can still make powerful drumbeats. We can always use that in the Village!
peace, Villager
wow. wow...she doesn't look bad i guess i just haven't seen her since the purple rain tour. anyway, thanks for the shout out, iw. and wow...
i bet she still is an amazing drummer. she was fierce!
@justjudith..."i bet she still is an amazing drummer. she was fierce"!
...You got that right! She opened for Paul Rodriguez at the Laugh Factory and she didn't disappoint.
@IW: Now, you know I ain't one to gossip, so don't say you heard it from me...but, I did catch Sheila on TBN with her mother giving her testimony. Let's just say the apple don't fall far from the tree. I don't know how old her mother is, she was dressed sharp as a tack. But, Sheila's facial features are hereditary. She looks just like her mother...(I thought it was due to a hard life)....
thanks for the info coloredgirls; heredity can be a bitch! She should have some pennies saved up for a little nip/tuck tho, I'm just sayin. @jj and villager: you're right, at the end of the day it's talent that matters, and all of the Escovedos have a ton. Look at Celia Cruz.
thanks for the confirmation of her drumming skills, cgwhc. good to know. she was amazing to watch.
Coloredgirls: Shiela E. played a set at the Laugh Factory?
And that is why we should not tug on our eyes when applying make up. No that is why we woman of color shouldn't where makeup every day. No that is why we should be using moisturizer and night cream.
dadadamn!!!
lol, debo :-)
