Today In B'Days

Kerry Washington is 31.

Let's try to forget about "I Think I Love My Wife", "She Hate Me" and "Little Man", all of which she managed to manouver through unscathed. Here is Kerry contributing good to the world with a reading of an 1851 speech by Sojourner Truth:

Haven't seen any of the movies mentioned. Actually, I've never heard of "Little Man."

I like her though. Met her in person. Nice, Short and Sweet - she was.

I can only say that every needs a paycheck...

LOL @ IW

"she managed to manouver through unscathed"

Tee hee hee. Just barely.

You're right about that.

I like her. I think she's very talented. I hope she gets good oppportunites and makes smart choices.

She took her shoes off, so you know she was about to get down and raw.

Kerry Washington is going to be my baby mama one day!

She's one of the better young black actresses working today. Now if only the available work will improve. She'll be in a film (Lakeview Terrace) with Samuel L Jackson in the fall - a thriller produced by Will Smith's Overbrook Ent. Looking forward to that.

Hey DC! I'm ALWAYS glad to see you and that smiling face :-) Never saw The Fantastic 4 tho....I've said several times that comix are not really my thing, but I'm glad you like it.

UT: How can you call yourself "Urban" and never hear of the Wayans Bros movie Litlle Man? I'm sure it was advertised all over New York. Aren't you supposed to be observant too? Just playin' :-) You didn't miss a thing, trust me

@blackactor: she probably thought a couple of those movies would turn out better than they did.

@MGV: okaaay?

@TAO: I wrote about that film a few months ago, well not wrote, it was a short post, and it was unclear what role she'd be playing at the time. I'm glad it is a lead.

she obviously does not read any scripts they send her or her agent. she just accepts the roles. hey...she gotta eat...i guess.
