A play about relationships... Most films are variations of the "Boy meets girl, boy struggles with girl and boy eventually wins back girl" theme, but, few exist as imaginative and stylish as Beautiful Things... Read more

Whew! Great acting/dialogue...I felt bad for him; I was actually talking to the screen, telling him to shut up while he was ahead.
I liked that it didn't feel like a movie, more like a documentary or a talk with friends in my livingroom...much more realistic. I definitely want to see the rest.
@Nicole: I love realism, something that's so sorely lacking in today's Black Cinema.
