From IW: All fairly mediocre returns for Easter weekend. There is always at least one movie on this list that I don't know anything about, and couldn't care less to find out. This week it is "Under The Same Moon". What is that?
Black Cinema releases seem to always debut in a solid second place. Did anyone see "Meet The Browns" or are you waiting for "Hustle Man" at the local barber/beauty shop?

I went to the cinema last week and I was CONVINCED that I was not going to see 10,000BC regardless of what happened. I saw Untraceable instead which just came out here in England.
IW, I am curious (off-topic sorry!), why don't black film companies/black film producers release more of their films worldwide?
I was waiting for the Great Debaters to come to the UK and I am pretty sure I will have to import it now.
I'm going to see both movies tonight. I don't wait for hustle man. I usually do the three-for-one special (AKA: Theater Hopping) at the local theater.
Tyler did fairly well. I like Angela Bassett, but I don't know about this one. I will wait until it's on pay-per-view.
@aulelia: it is sooooo hard for Black films to get distribution, even domestically here in the US. That's why so many good films fall to the wayside, and the mediocre ones get play--cause the non black studios are comfortable with those.
@UT: Please let me know what you thought, and what Under One Moon is about.
@MGV: Me too. I don't think I'll be seeing anything new.
