Interesting...

I've never been much of a Mike Epps fan; something about him just rubs me the wrong way, and this pretty much seals it:

Actor/comedian Mike Epps beat the shit out of a process server who was trying to serve him with paternity court papers. Remember back in March when that chick from Georgia said Mike fathered her baby and she wanted him to take a paternity test but he refused? Well homegirl tried to have Mike served backstage at a Louisville Kentucky comedy club and it did not go well. According to police reports, the server says he tried to hand Mike the papers, but got his ass handed to him instead. Dude says he came out of the skirmish with an abrasion to the right side of his head and his left eye swollen shut.*

From IW: Do we really need Maury Povich or Sherlock Holmes to figure this one out? Hello my brothers--it's called a 3 dollar condom...damn!

I'm a fan, not rabidly so, but a fan. Still, he's a sorry-ass for this mess right here.

I have to agree with you on Mike Epps, I've never been much of a fan either. He just doesn't make me laugh. This certainly doesn't help...

That is a sad mess. And he is only making things worse for himself.

that is a damn shame. Another Black man running from responsibility. he should be willing to prove that it is not his or affirm her assertions. You can put a nigga in a movie move him to Hollywood but that hood never leaves!

Madness. Not only the stupidity of getting a woman pregnant, but (allegedly) beating up a man who had nothing to do with your ignorance. I hope its not true, but considering some of the stories coming out of the entertainment/athletic world, it wouldn't surprise me.

Jackass. I'm not a big fan either. He's had some funny moments, but he's a f*ckin' clown and I don't mean that in a good way.

@madame z: right? The best defense is a sorry ass offense I guess...

hi queenb.d: he's mad cause his irresponsibilty caught up with him, and you're right--don't shoot the messenger! Now dumbass might have another lawsuit on his hands...

@EB: I never think that Negro is funny. He has the humor and creativity of a third grader, and now he's acting like one.

@True UQ: He certainly isn't making it any better, lol

@bygbaby: there has to be some good fathers in the hood...that nigga is just straight up sorry and ignant.

@wanda: sad, but true when you think about it...

@danielle: Clown! That is the perfect word...that is the reason I chose the clown-like picture for this post as well...but maybe I shoulda used a jackass instead, haha

@regina: what is up with these trifling celebrities? Do they need attention so bad that they don't care if the world knows their dirty laundry? SMH

I bet that process server will think twice before attempting to do their job again.

How DARE a court of law having to take up the onus of forcing a black man to be responsible for the bastard children he creates!

For shame! Don't they know that ghetto-assed niggas as well as some not-so-ghetto assed niggas should be free to screew and ejaculate in whomever they want? Without having to be preoccupied with procreation or sexually transmitted diseases?

Serves the server right.

(I know folks who visit your blog understand sarcasm)

@blkseagoat: hey there...where ya been? :-)

About Epps; one word-trifling!

Apparently, everyone believes that he told the woman to carry the baby to term when the morally devout mother asked him what he wanted to do with the pregnancy?

Apparently, she has the constitutional right to walk away and have an abortion or adoption in the name of women's tights, but he is somehow morally devoid by himself?

Granted, Epps is a t*@t for smacking the messenger, still I think men's rights have taken a back seat for some time.
