Morgan Freeman, my geriatric ex-husband (alas, he finally got too "mature" for me) is 71.
I wish I can show you guys a clip from "Street Smart", which is by far my favorite Freeman role, where he played a pimp (he was nominated for an Oscar for it, but didn't win), but there were none to be found. So here he is in a movie that seems to be a staple on many a man's favorite movie list; "The Shawshank Redemption". It is a perfect snapshot of how absolutely amazing he can be as an actor.

I love Morgan Freeman and didn't know he was 71! happy B-Day to Mr freeman! When I think of him the first movies that come to mind are shawshank, Outbreak, Hard Rain and High Crimes! he has a very long movie history!

One of my favorite actors. My only concern is the fact that he has this money in his pocket yet he doesn't have any dental insurance.

When it come to Morgan Freeman it is as if he can not do any wrong. His film making is incredible. I do not recall seeing a film that he was in that I did not appreciate.
Every time that I see his name on the marquee I am first in line to grab a ticket and take in his show.
Has anyone here ever seen Chain Reaction? It is a really good film with him in it and I think that you would really appreciate it.
