Spike Lee has written School Daze part II but can't find anyone willing to fund the project. The new film focuses on the same college 25 years later and was set to star Kanye West and Alicia Keys.

I hope they just leave the film alone. It's good as it is. A real black film classic.
Maybe they wont fund it because they "Woke Up!" LOL But really, I love School Daze Hell it sent me to a black school, but ummmm NO! Move forward spike...don't go back. Plus nobody will ever be able to top Good and Bad Hair!

I've heard this to be a rumor for awhile now. Since 2004. I don't know about this one. It'd be great to have a black college movie, but not under the "School Daze" title.
@solshine: All classics should be left alone as far as I'm concerned.
@dj: I know--a lot of people said it inspired them to go to a historically Black college, but somehow I get the feeling that Kanye and Alicia wouldn't come close...
