I Vote "NO"

Only from Percy Miller, aka Master P. Anyone who can make "I Got The Hook Up" can make anything, no shame. From allhiphop.com:

Rap mogul Percy “Master P” Miller and his son Romeo are preparing to star in their first full-length feature together in the new horror movie "The Pig People".

The Pig People will star Romeo as “TJ,” one of five college students who venture into a haunted forest to shoot a documentary for their film class.

The students venture into the woods seeking to debunk an 18th century Louisiana myth surrounding the fearsome, half-human, half-swine “pig people.”

“I’ve never done a horror movie before,” said Romeo, who plans on majoring in film while playing sports at USC.

“It’s a different kind of acting and the challenge is really allowing me to take my game to the next level,” Romeo told AllHipHop.com “We’re gonna make the audience jump out of their seats with this.”

In addition to actor Daeg Faerch (Halloween), Romeo’s father, reformed gangsta rapper Master P., is co-starring in the movie as the film’s villain. The Pig People is being produced by Vault Load Films and directed by David Gueringer and is scheduled to be released in 2009.

From IW: Are you freakin' serious?

On to more ridiculosity; Aunt Viv brings her hairline to new waters. From VH1:

Vivica A. Fox, actress, producer and fashion luminary, is bringing her celebrity style to VH1 for a new competition show ripped from the pages of the fashion magazines. The new series, “Glam God With Vivica A. Fox” slated to premiere in this summer, searches for the next great celebrity stylist who has what it takes to become the stylist to the stars through their ability to create a chic masterpiece using the three key elements of fashion – hair, make-up and wardrobe.

Each week the “stylista” contestants will be asked to compete in various challenges that will test their knowledge of fashion and style trends as they create the perfect look from head to toe. The stylists must be well versed in all areas of fashion and beauty as they bring their vision to life through hair, make-up and wardrobe. Those that fall short of creating that perfect look will have their style license revoked and will be sent packing. The one stylist that manages to rise above the rest will be given the ultimate reward — the chance to launch a career by styling an A-list celebrity and being awarded $100,000.

Throughout each episode viewers will also learn the secret tips of looking fabulous on the red carpet.

“Vivica is a movie star and a fashion icon who knows how to step onto the red carpet and nail it every single time,” said Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Production, VH1. “Her instincts are impeccable and she knows how critical it is to have a ‘glam god’ she can trust to create a star-making killer look. We are thrilled that we have her vision and insights to drive this show.”

From IW: Aunt Viv is a fashion luminary and a fashion icon? Since when is she Donatella Versace? (well, maybe they have the same face). When I see her, I am always reminded of someone either going to the prom, or chaperoning it.

Glam God is from the same people who did Flavor of Love and I Love New York. Specifically Cris Abrego. I wrote a profile on him in the current issue of Latina. I'd love it if you checked it out... And... are you here in L.A.? —Serena Kim

OK, so is you back up in this piece???

"Aunt Viv is a fashion luminary and a fashion icon?" That is what I am like? Half the time she looks like a hot damn mess & that new plastic face & fake tits are not a good look for boo. She looked damn good in Set it Off & when down hill slowly from there.

I will more than likely rent "pig people" because I'm a cheap slut for horror. I can't think of any other audience that will willingly go to into a questionable film in hope of thrills. Horror fans take alot of punishment.

Hi Sugarbread...that figures! Thanks for the headsup....yes, I am based in California, but I am temporarily in the South. :-) hope to see you around often...could you send me a link to that article?

@Ms. M: I say it for you....beeeaaatch! And I am right behind you about that ensemble.

@BHC: cosign. I absolutely loathe shit like this. Even "First Sunday" is better than that. Well, that's a bad example, haha.

No worries about the hiccup :-)

@bygbaby---that right....Baby, Baaaayybeee! haha

I agree, she used to be so pretty. She does have some good days tho.

@janice: I take some punishment for this blog as well, but seeing that movie would be the "cruel and unusual" type...good luck!

Percy “Master P” Miller needs to pull his pants up and tuck his shirt in. How old is he anyway 40?

I've got nothing but love for my girl Frankie aka Vivica Fox...but Vivica is no fashion icon.
I wish the photo you had posted was that Las Vegas ShowGirl/Low Class Ho/Mariah Carey throwback/Lil'Kim wouldn't wear this outfit she sported at some awards show when she was molesting than man/child 50 Cents.

I think P should just produce some things. He stays trying to act, and that is just pure ego, cause he has to know by now he is one of the worst actors ever.

I like Viv too, but a fashion go-to she is definitely not.

I have no comment on Percy. No adjective can accurately describe my feelings for him right about now.

As for Miss Viv; she's barely hanging on and will do what she can to stay relevant. Sigh.

Danielle: ya gotta give it to the girl...she STAYS out there no matter what, with the straight demeanor of "it's all good".
