This week's meme is supposed to be weddings, what you played or would play at yours. I couldn't find one that suited Black Cinema (or at least couldn't think of one), so I chose a song that is ultra sexy. There are 2 versions here; the newer one from the soundtrack of "Love Jones" a reader favorite, and the classic version, that I never get tired of hearing:

This song is on my mix tape in my car right now, this and you Move Me. Great choice, this is by far one of the best soundtracks ever. I love CD's that you can just press pay.
Love Jones is one of the few soundtracks I own. Great choice!
Love Jones is the joint. That is the CD you can put on and play all day. At least, on a Sunday. But you can listen to it every day.
If you don't have Love Jones in your collection then you don't appreciate good music.
I agree with Urban Thought...that Love Jones CD set a precedent...and I love that Trina Broussard!

Love Jones...ah, one of my favorite movies. The soundtrack can play from beginning to end. This is definitely among my faves...original and remake by Trina. My fave jazz song ever: In A Sentimental Mood is on the soundtrack as well. Can't get no better!
There is nothing wrong with Love Jones... you can play that at the reception. LOL

"Inside My Love" one of my favorites. The remake is ok, but she can't touch Minnie.
@keli--no disrepect to those who like the new one, but the original is miles away much better to me, in terms of emotion and everything else.
