Well, At Least One Half Of The Hudlins is Trying

While trying to get my mind off of that stank "the black guy did it" lie of gleaming piece of s__t Lindsey Lohan, I wanted to blog about a do-gooder.

Last month NYC mayor Michael Bloomberg presented the inaugural "Diversity Award" to Black Filmmaker Foundation President Warrington Hudlin at the second annual “Made in NY” (MINY) Awards. The award was developed to honor one person every year who has made significant contributions to increase diversity in the local entertainment industry.

Maybe he can give his brother, "Hot Ghetto Mess" defender Reginald Hudlin, some tips.

That has the makings of a tremendously awkward Thanksgiving dinner.

To say the least. They had a film production company in tandem...I wonder what happened?

I forget which one of the brothers was the one Tupac wanted to beat up, or was it both of them?

btw -- i love this blog! and yeah, reggie is struggling. does bet not get any money? vh1 has all kinds of cool shows that bet could co-opt and do a black version of but they must not get any money. i personally would like a black version of behind the music. let's face it, some bands aren't going to be on vh1 and they've done all the white groups.

Thank you justjudith :-) I like your blog, too. I agree, it would be amazing to see some black groups and artists "Behind The Music"...I don't get what the hold up is (or maybe I do).

At Coloredgirls...wha??! I never heard that, maybe you could enlighten me. I used to work down the hall from the Hudlins, and if I ventured a guess, I would place my bets on Reggie--haha

The Hughes Brothers did do a film about Tupac after he died, so I don't quite get it.

@Invisible...now, you've got me baffled, I could have sworn that one of the brothers had a restraining order placed on him. I'm going to start keeping a journal. They say the 1st thing to go with age is memory...
