Milk Carton Alert

What the eff happened to Cynda Williams? She seemed like the next big black film star in the 90's, but I haven't seen her since "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge". She was the sexy chanteuse is "Mo' Betta Blues" and played some interesting indie roles, like in "One False Move" (directed by Carl Franklin) then nothing on the radar.

I know that when time passes some actresses can't get work, but Cynda started in a way that her face should still be out there. No milk carton needed here, though....when I peeped her profile on IMDB, she has worked quite consistently, though you coulda fooled me. She now seems to reside in B and C movie heaven.

I miss me some Cynda. She had a natural flair. You've talked her up... next thing you know she'll probably be coming out with a movie that has visibility.

She wasn't that good of an actress imo. She was okay in "Mo Better", but I think that's because Denzel brings out the best in everyone.

@hotnikz-I wouldn't be mad if she took over some of Halle's parts....at least it would mix it up a bit, and she's no worse an actress, haha. @at PZ: it is about that time for her resurgence...
