Thank Goodness!

Chris Tucker is finally going to make something besides a Rush Hour movie (he has made only Rush Hour I, II, and III in the past ten years). He is in negotiations to play the lead in a comedy about the first black president, called "Mr. President".

Admittedly, not much of a stretch, but baby steps, baby steps...at least Jackie Chan's not in it. And it certainly couldn't be any worse than that Chris Rock black president movie, that's for sure.

Jackie Chan is irritating, that's why I'm not in a rush to see Rush Hour III. I don't really know if I'll rush to see this one. This may be one I'll wait to see on cable.

chris rock's movies are really, really not good. and all of these years i've wondered why chris tucker has been creatively, a one note guy. i saw him on african-american lives -- he's interesting and can speak at normal decibels. i'm not sure why he only does rush hour movies but i'd like to see him in something that's a stretch.

@xilla: I had no idea this project had been sitting around...really? @jj: I think we all know the reason why he does the Rush Hour movies...it's starts with the letter green and ends with the letter more green...He does seem fairly somber in real life...I really wish he would try a drama, I think he'd be really good at it.
