Poor Wesley. I know you should pay your income taxes but damn, 3 years. I guess we won't have anymore of those Blade movies.

I'll bet his a** stops all that bowing like he's Kung Fu Master Joe. Standing up straight in jail with all the men folk is not an option!

Ok, you know you're wrong for that picture. That is too funny. I still don't understand how he was even selected for that Noxema Jackson role but I don't get Chris Tucker playing Ruby Rhod in The Fifth Element either.

On a serious note, I didn't keep up with the Snipes tax trial but three years seems rather harsh.

I have no remorse. He's where he needs to be and got off easy.

Accountability. Shady accountants will have your butt in jail. Period. Just don't drop the soap. hee hee hee

@jj: he avoided the felonies, not the misdemeanors

@madame z: when you are that level, you know what you need to do

@wanda: I, for one, will not miss them at all. Good riddance, I say.

@bygbaby: he would definitely be a top if he did get to Oz, haha :-)

In the words of Nino Brown:
"see ya and I wouldn't want to be ya"

I have no pity for him.
If he was clueless as he claims, then he should have carried his behind down to H&R Block they would have did a better job at keeping him out of jail...

@focused purpose: I hear you! Where is the Asian community now? And what shade of actor friends did he call on to help, hmmm? (Besides Woody Harrelson).

@shelia: ROTHLMBAO!

@Vanessa: Hey girl! :-)

I agree about Wesley, but Chris fit that fruity role pretty well I thought...

@danielle: I am no fan of Wesley, but dang girl, you ain't no joke! :-)

@chocl8t: that's what I'm sayin'. He might be Noxema for real.

@coloredgirls:Not H&R block! But the sad part is, that is probably the truth, and he would have only had to pay a few hundred dollars.

Wes was playing to many games with the gov. just pay the loot and keep it moving. so i guess i have to wait 3 years or so before i can get another "B" or straight to DVD movie from this dude.

I read somewhere that Wes was following some guy who started an organization based on the idea that there was a legal way to not pay taxes. The article states that Wes willingly stopped paying taxes in 1998 and tried to get the taxes he paid in 1996 and 1997 back from the US government. When he recently was charged he showed up to court, or sent in, three checks for $5 million.

I agree with the H&R block comment. When your making millions it is a lot easier to just pay the taxes, buy enough property, and invest the money in ways to get that money back. If he was smart he would have learned from the Governator in Cali.

@db: have no fear, you still have Cuba for your straight to DVDs!

@ehav: now wouldn't it have been so much easier to pay those checks when they were due? He obviously had the money---he is full of s**t when he says he didn't know anything.

@Lisa: lmao!
