Terrence Watch!: Massive Stupidity Edition

There are those in life that should never speak and keep a low profile, but for some reason seem to be unable to do it. O.J. is currently paying for his runningus mouthus, and Sarah Palin seems to be incapable of even slightly perceiving what a complete and total moron she is. Case in point, fighting a war of words with David Letterman, whose mind can run around the earth's equator five times before Palin's tiny bird brain can process a simple sentence. Will she ever learn? Probably not--arrogance is a treacherous thing.

The treachery of arrogance can lead to several things; like thinking that you are completely desirable to everyone in your path, or that you are a Mensa scholar with everyone hanging on to your every word as if it were gold. Or both. This same arrogance also apparently makes you blissfully unaware that you are an idiot; Palin, Trump, Spencer Pratt, Jon Voight, Republican head Michael Steele, Miley Cyrus...I can go on and on. But the only one that makes me really take notice is the one who always brings me out of my Blog Hiatus, my beloved Terrence Howard.

Since I've been on hiatus, my darling Terrence has gotten engaged *sniff*, saved a baby bird from certain death in Beverly Hills (which miraculously made many news and blog outlets--kudos Baby Wipe publicist!), and recently had this golden nugget of wisdom for us lowly earthlings:

"I don't think President Obama has been that revolutionary in reaching out to ethnic communities. President Reagan did a lot for the black community that people don't realize."

Well, I must admit, I sure the f*ck didn't know that. Ol' Ronald sure was hiding it very, very well. You learn something new every day, yes? Maybe one day Terrence can share even more of his ethereal sage wisdom and let us know exactly what those things were. Until then, I'll watch the kids in deep East Oakland play with rocks instead of being in the after-school programs Reaganomics snatched away. Thanks once again, my Prince, for waking me from my blog beauty sleep! Back to my Billy Wilder marathon on TCM....

Sarah Palin's feet and toes at a recent appearance--speaks volumes, don't it? I think Dave was on to something about the "slutty flight attendant" look

Hey!!
All I gotta say is that Senor baby wipes is right... lol remember Reaganomics? Crack cocaine era? unemployment, crime & poverty on the rise in the black community? Yeah, Reagan did a whole lot more for the community than Pres. Obama could ever do!! He's a fool! Why must he always say and do dumb shit?

He meant all the crack cocaine pumped into the black communities...

Is that a confederate flag on her toe?

I can't...

I don't listen to celebrities...period.

But on a more interesting note, you watched the Billy Wilder marathon? I was trying to record as many as I could, but my DVR is still filled with movies from the 31 Days of Oscar marathon (wrong I know). Actually they had a Woody Allen marathon on last night and I got to catch Broadway Danny Rose which was definitely entertaining...wish he had more people of color in his films...Oh well....

@sincere: that was the same thing i was thinking when i first read it! yeah, he did plenty, nothing positive that i know about.

@marvalus: yeah, directly to the projects like the ones terrence was living in (so he said) during what i'm sure was the reagan era.

sarah would wear a dress made out of the confederate flag if she thought for a minute she could get away with it.

@blaqbird: i saw the lineup for woody allen, but i'd seen all of them except for interiors, and it seemed depressing, so i didn't watch. i rarely watch his new films cause of the distinct lack of color and classes--it's just ridiculous at this point.

i love billy wilder movies...somehow the lack of color doesn't bother me there...go figure. but at least he showed people from all walks of life, albeit white ones, lol.

I concur...what an id he is.

As for Sarah...I keep waiting for her to fall off the face of the Earth, but I suppose that's wishful thinking.

Shouldn't that have been: "President Reagan has done alot TO the black commmunity that people don't realize."?????

Still trying to figure out myself just what old Reagan did FOR us...

Great blog btw. :-)

Just wow...he needs to sit his pretty ass down!

@k*Mack: Hi there...it is a wish millions of us have--hopefully one day soon it will come true **hoping and wishing**

@african orchid: welcome :-) yeah, he should have said that, but it would have made too much sense, and we can't have that coming from Terrence now, can we?

@cheron: i've been saying that for almost 2 years now--i have the sneaking suspicion he's not listening...

I was with him for the first sentence. But the second sentence? LOL. I know he has that new show, Pigs and Panthers. The time period it is set in would be around the time Ronald Reagan was Govenor of California, give or take. You would think he would have learned a little something about what Reagan actually did then and when he became president. But then again, some people always spin things to suit their agenda. They'll call a turd a tootsie roll and some people will believe it. That's why it's so important research for yourself (from several different sources).

Government Cheese. This is what Raygun gave to us. That big fat rectangular block of cheese in the brown box.

I started raising my children during the Regan era. I must of missed all the wonderful things that ReRon did for us.

Why? Why? Why? does this man still suffer from foot in mouth disease?

I don't think Obama has been "revolutionary" for blacks either, but to say Regn has...that definitely means you're a walking idiot.

A Big Butt and a Smile

I.JUST.CAN'T! I wish he would do us and himself a favor and keep his yap quiet.

If you are going to question what The President has or has not done, please come with real facts.

I'm tired of idiots talking and saying nothing.

I'm hoping that this statement was for the SOLE purpose of stirring up controversy for his new show.

Please, please, pretty please? He can't be that ignorant ...

Too funny. I wasn't aware that he even made those remarks. Goes to show you how removed I am from such things. I'd like him to plead his case to someone who would care to listen to him. I cannot watch him on the big screen or the small screen for that matter. I don't consider him to be a great actor. Too full of himself.

Sarah Palin is nuts. That's all I'm saying. I think it is something in the Alaskan air.

Glad to see you back. Even if its for a moment.
