"How bad is 'Meet Dave?' I just found that even Eddie Murphy didn't bother to show up at last night's Hollywood premiere of the film. THAT'S how bad".
From IW: Damn! I was gonna go to that premier (last minute invite tho)...if Eddie didn't show up, I'm sure glad I didn't. I wrote about this debacle HERE in "WTF? Volume 2" when I started my blog a year ago (maybe 25 people read it, so you can read it now). I feel exactly the same way about this ish as I did a year ago.....
by the way, can Eddie please be serious about retiring from acting? why the f**k doesn't he use the gobs of money he's drowning in to produce something that matters? SMH

Wait a minute. This is a new film? Oh My Damn! You know what Eddie, I'm done. This is just all kinds of sad.
Now their talking about a Beverly Hills Cop 4, promising a much better film than the last one, which was terrible. Not sure if it's really going to happen. We'll see.
Yeah I saw this Friday, felt I got stuck up for my money, it was like a Sci-Fi version of Soul Plane.
Gabrielle Union was on Regis and Kelly on Friday or something and they showed a clip for it. This -ish looks worse than Pluto Nash. Obviously Eddie was fulfilling a contract obligation. LOL. He hit the big 50, no? 50 films, not 50 years. ;)
Maybe Eddie should try a sitcom with Arsenio... as single dads with daughters, that type of series...showing black men as fathers in a positive way but with mad humor...
